What makes a good teacher?
There are some characteristics that make a good teacher:
- Professional
qualities include mastery of the subject, understanding of the learner,
understanding of teaching principles, skill in the use of techniques
for their implementation, general understanding of the other branches of
knowledge and understanding of appreciable teaching profession.
- Personal
qualities relate to teacher's personality, interests, attitudes,
beliefs, and working relationships with pupils and other individuals.
